"Connecticut Man Arrested for Operating $8.5M Psychedelic Mushroom Factory"

A 21-year-old man from Burlington, Connecticut, named Weston Soule has been arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell narcotics and operating a drug factory after detectives discovered a clandestine psilocybin mushroom growing operation at his residence. The investigation was prompted by a tip received by the DEA Hartford Task force and state police detectives. Upon serving a search warrant, investigators found a mushroom-growing factory containing psilocybin mushrooms with an estimated street value of $8.5 million. Soule admitted to growing the illegal mushrooms and is being held on a $250,000 bond.
