Compton gas station looted during chaotic street takeover

A mob of around 100 people broke into a gas station in Compton, California, after a street takeover early Sunday morning, grabbing merchandise off the shelves. At least three street takeovers occurred overnight in the Compton area, including one at the intersection where the break-in occurred. No arrests were made and no one in the video has been identified, according to authorities. Street takeovers occur most weekends in the area, according to Sgt. Clarence Williams of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
