Colorado Murder Suspect Threatened Roommate Over Cleanliness and Marijuana, Court Docs Reveal

Conflicts between roommates at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs preceded the killings of a student and a woman in a campus dorm, with one argument reportedly stemming from a dispute over taking out the trash. Nicholas Trevon Jordan, 25, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of his roommate Samuel Knopp, 24, and Celie Rain Montgomery, 26. The affidavit revealed that Jordan had threatened Knopp after a complaint about the state of their dorm, and both roommates had made complaints about Jordan's cleanliness and alleged drug use. Jordan, who filed a request to withdraw from classes and campus housing the day before the shooting, was captured on security video entering and leaving the dorm complex around the time of the incident.
