Club Q Shooting Suspect to Appear in Court

Anderson Lee Aldrich, the accused shooter in the deadly rampage at Club Q in Colorado Springs last year, is expected to face more than 300 charges including murder, attempted murder, and hate crimes. Survivors and family members of the victims expect Aldrich to plead guilty and receive multiple life sentences in prison. The shooting left five people dead and about 20 others injured. The hearing comes just days after some victims and survivors expressed frustration with slow payouts from a fund meant to help them recover. The United States attorney’s office in Denver could still pursue federal hate crimes charges against the defendant.
