Chicago Man Arrested for Arson Spree Targeting Halloween Decorations in Lincoln Square

A person named Mario Munoz has been arrested and charged with arson and criminal damage to property in connection with a series of Halloween decoration fires in Lincoln Square and Roscoe Village. At least 10 fires have been set this month, targeting Halloween and autumn displays on sidewalks, residential porches, and street-corner garbage cans. Munoz has been charged in connection with two of the fires, and it is unclear if he will be charged in the others. No injuries have been reported, but some neighbors have been displaced.
