Two fishermen in Ohio were sentenced to 10-day jail terms, had their fishing licenses suspended for three years, and were required to forfeit a boat worth $130,000 after they were caught cheating during a fishing tournament by stuffing fish with lead weights and fish filets. The men pleaded guilty to cheating and unlawful ownership of wild animals. The tournament director noticed the fish were heavier than they looked and cut them open, revealing the metal weights and fish filets inside. The men were disqualified and told to leave the tournament.
