"Charges Filed in Dramatic Semi Crash on Clark Memorial Bridge"

Trevor Branham, 33, of Jeffersonville, has been charged with four counts of wanton endangerment and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license in connection to a multi-vehicle crash that left a semi dangling over the Clark Memorial/Second Street Bridge. The crash occurred on March 1, and witnesses reported that Branham was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic before hitting a stalled car, causing him to lose control and collide with the semi. The driver of the semi was rescued by the Louisville Fire Department after about 40 minutes, and Branham was hospitalized for injuries sustained in the crash. He has been released on a $20,000 bond and is scheduled for a hearing on May 15.
