Chad Daybell Sentenced to Death for 'Doomsday' Triple Murders

Chad Daybell has been sentenced to death by an Idaho jury for the 2019 murders of his first wife, Tamara Daybell, and his second wife's two children, Joshua "JJ" Vallow and Tylee Ryan. The verdict, which took two days to reach, was described by prosecutors as justice for the victims' families. Daybell, who promoted apocalyptic beliefs to justify the killings, was also found guilty of insurance fraud. His co-conspirator and wife, Lori Vallow, was previously sentenced to life in prison for her role in the murders.
