Cannon Falls Shooting Triggers Standoff and Shelter-in-Place Order

A woman was shot inside a residence in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, and the suspected shooter, a 25-year-old man, is believed to still be inside the home. Residents in the area have been asked to shelter in place while law enforcement establishes a perimeter and attempts to contact the suspect. The victim, a 26-year-old woman, was transported to a hospital for treatment. Schools in the area have implemented a "no one in or out" protocol until the suspect is located.
