Calls for Change at Funeral of Black Florida Mother Killed by White Neighbor.

Family, friends, and civil rights leaders gathered for the funeral of Ajike "AJ" Owens, a Florida mom who was shot and killed after confronting her neighbor. The neighbor, Susan Lorincz, claimed self-defense, but Sheriff Billy Woods said it was not justified. Lorincz was arrested on counts of manslaughter with a firearm. Owens was a single mom of four who loved her children. Her mother called for change and criticized the Marion County deputies for taking several days to arrest Lorincz. Civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton delivered the eulogy.
