"Buffalo Man's Alleged Arson at SUNY Potsdam Displaces Dozens of Students"

A SUNY Potsdam student from Buffalo, Phonta Johnson, has been charged with second- and fourth-degree arson in connection with a fire at a college residence hall. The fire at Van Housen Hall forced the evacuation of 62 students and their pets, with most allowed back into their rooms. Johnson, a transfer student, was suspended pending the results of his legal case and was taken to St. Lawrence County jail with bail set at $25,000.
