"Brutal Assault: Cincinnati Police Officer Overpowered and Attacked in Public Park"

A Cincinnati Police officer, Terry McGuffey, was attacked and beaten with his own Taser and baton while responding to reports of a man exposing himself in Sawyer Point Park. The suspect allegedly beat the officer, tased him multiple times, and attempted to gouge his eyes out. Another officer arrived and arrested the suspect, identified as Brandon Claiborne. Hamilton County Prosecutor Melissa Powers called the attack "sickening" and vowed to put those who assault police officers in prison for a long time. Claiborne is expected to be arraigned on charges of Felonious Assault and Aggravated Robbery.
