Brave Bystanders Foil Carjacking Spree in Florida

Surveillance video captured the heroic actions of two good Samaritans who helped deputies arrest a man accused of a home invasion and carjacking in The Villages, Florida. Michael Prouty, 39, was apprehended in Ocala after crashing a stolen car and attempting to carjack another vehicle in a Starbucks drive-thru line. The video shows one of the good Samaritans chasing and apprehending Prouty, assisting the police in making the arrest. Prouty now faces multiple charges, including fleeing and eluding, attempted carjacking, and home invasion.
