Belmont University Student Critically Injured by Stray Bullet in Nashville

A Belmont University student, Jillian Ludwig, was shot in the head by a stray bullet while walking around a park in Nashville. The 18-year-old freshman music business major was found in critical condition and taken to the hospital. Shaquille Taylor, 29, has been charged with aggravated assault and evidence tampering in connection with the shooting. Taylor admitted to firing shots at a car and was identified as the alleged shooter by a confidential informant. The university president urged students to seek counseling and offered prayers for Ludwig's recovery.
