Bay Bridge Shooting Causes Traffic Delays and Injures One

A shooting on the Bay Bridge Saturday night left at least one person injured, causing massive traffic delays and leading to the closure of all but one lane as police conducted their investigation. The incident occurred just before 8:30 p.m. as a woman was shot while traveling eastbound toward Yerba Buena Island, and multiple shots were fired as the car passed through a tunnel. The woman was taken to the hospital, and police have not yet identified any suspects or determined the motives behind the shooting.
