Judge Frances Gull expressed the need to delay the trial set for January, as new attorneys would require more time to prepare. Allen's defense team had previously filed a memorandum questioning the search warrant for his home, and his lawyers had requested a transfer due to his declining mental state, which was denied. The next hearing is scheduled for October 31st.
