Atlanta Shooting Suspect Charged with Murder, Mayor Calls for Gun Law Changes.

Deion Patterson has been charged with one count of murder and four counts of aggravated assault after a mass shooting in an Atlanta medical practice that left one woman dead and four others wounded. Patterson had an appointment at the medical building and opened fire shortly after arriving. He was captured in Cobb County, just northwest of Atlanta. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation. The shooting comes as cities around the U.S. have been wracked by gun violence and mass shootings in 2021.
