Atlanta shooting suspect captured after killing 1 and injuring 4.

The suspect in a mass shooting at a medical building in Midtown Atlanta that left one woman dead and four others wounded has been taken into custody after an hourslong manhunt. Deion Patterson, a former Coast Guardsman, opened fire in the waiting room of Northside Hospital Medical before fleeing in a car he carjacked nearby. Patterson was apprehended in a condominium complex near Truist Park at roughly 7:45 p.m. local time. The four victims were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, with three in critical condition and one stable.
