Arrests Made in Spree of Robberies and Purse Snatchings in San Gabriel Valley

Two men, Russell Hardy, Jr. and Cameron DeShawn Perry, have been charged in connection with a series of robberies in the San Gabriel Valley, including incidents targeting elderly victims. The robberies involved stealing purses and wallets, with one incident resulting in an elderly woman being dragged across a parking lot. The suspects were caught after a witness recorded one of the incidents on their phone. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has charged both men with multiple counts of robbery and other related charges.
