Arrests Made in Series of Attacks on Women on NYC's West Side

Two men have been arrested in connection with four separate sexual assaults targeting women in or near Manhattan's Riverside Park. Luc Tatchiem Noubissi, 39, was taken into custody for attacking a woman near West 59th Street, while Jhonathan Yahir Cortes Lopez, 21, was arrested for sexually assaulting two women in the park and grabbing another woman. The police initially believed the incidents were committed by one perpetrator but later discovered they were unrelated. Noubissi was found with incriminating evidence, including the victim's cellphone and the red shirt he was wearing during the attack. Cortes Lopez was identified through surveillance video and made statements linking him to the attacks. Both men have been charged with various offenses.
