Arrests made in fatal shooting of JSU student

A second suspect, Jamison Kelly Jr., has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Jackson State University student Jaylen Burns. Kelly is charged with accessory after the fact to murder for allegedly driving the primary suspect, Joshua Brown, away from the scene of the shooting. Brown, a Jones College student-athlete, has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon on school property. The shooting occurred on October 15 at the University Pointe Apartments. Kelly, a former football player at Louisiana Tech University and Indiana University, was arrested by the U.S. Marshal's Task Force and the Columbia Police Department.
