Arrest Made in Upstate Shoe Store Robbery Attempt

A man was arrested after attempting to rob a shoe store in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The suspect entered the store and waited for customers to leave before approaching the register and demanding money. Although he did not present a weapon, he hinted that he had one. The clerk managed to call 911 discreetly, prompting the suspect to flee. Later, during a separate disturbance call, deputies realized they were dealing with the robbery suspect and arrested him. The suspect confessed to the attempted armed robbery and is now facing charges.
