Arrest Made in Silverton Drive-By Shooting

Three suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 9-year-old Da'Myiah Barton-Pickens in Silverton. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office believes the shooting is drug-related and that the suspects mistakenly targeted the child's home. The sheriff also mentioned an uptick in drive-by shootings in the area and expressed concern about the availability of guns. Two other recent drive-by shootings resulted in fatalities and injuries.
