Arrest Made in Hate Crime Attack: Woman Throws Hot Coffee at Man in NYC

The incident occurred at Edmonds Playground in Brooklyn, where Bozakkaravani is accused of making anti-Islamic statements before assaulting the victim. She is facing nine charges, including four hate crime charges. The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force reported a 124% rise in hate crime incidents last month and a 214% surge in anti-Jewish incidents compared to October 2022.
