Arrest Made in Halloween Shooting at North Star Mall

Edwardo Sanchez, Jr, has been arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated robbery in connection with a shooting at North Star Mall in San Antonio. Sanchez, along with two others, was shoplifting in Macy's on Halloween night when they were confronted by security guards. During the struggle, Sanchez shot a 29-year-old female security guard in the leg before fleeing the scene. He was later apprehended and confessed to the crime. This incident marks the third shooting at the mall within six months. The mall's parent company stated that they are evaluating their security protocols in response to the incidents.
