Arrest Made in Fatal Stabbing of Passenger on South LA Metro Train

A suspect, Carlos Carrillo-Martinez, has turned himself in to the Los Angeles Police Department in connection with the fatal stabbing of a passenger, Jalil Sosa Illera, on a Metro light-rail train in South Los Angeles. Illera was stabbed multiple times following an altercation with the suspect. The victim managed to make it home and called 911 but later died from his injuries. Murders on the Metro system are rare, with six reported in the past year.
