Arrest made in fatal shooting of SEPTA bus driver in Germantown

A woman fitting the description of the suspect in the fatal shooting of a SEPTA bus driver in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood has been taken into custody. The shooting occurred when the 48-year-old driver of SEPTA's Route 23 was shot multiple times in his chest and abdomen area. The suspect, a female in her early 20s, fired multiple shots while getting on and off the bus. No other passengers were injured, and the driver later died at the hospital. The person was apprehended in Germantown, but no weapon has been recovered at this time.
