Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting of 12-Year-Old Boy in Mattapan

A 12-year-old boy was shot and killed in Mattapan, leading to the arrest of a 22-year-old man on firearms charges. The incident occurred at a home on Fessenden Street, and the victim was pronounced dead at Boston Medical Center. This is the second child fatality due to gun violence in Mattapan this year.
