Arrest Made in Bourbon Street Shooting, NOPD Reports

A woman named Shawnnika Smith has been arrested by the New Orleans Police Department for allegedly shooting and injuring three people on Bourbon Street. Smith is facing charges of attempted second-degree murder, aggravated second-degree battery, aggravated assault with a firearm, and illegal discharge of a firearm. The shooting left one man in critical condition and two others with leg injuries. Police recovered a 9mm pistol from Smith's possession and are urging anyone with additional information to come forward.
