"Arrest Made After Shots Fired at SC State Campus"

A South Carolina State University student was arrested after shots were fired in an academic building, resulting in a campus lockdown. The student, Rolando J. Ifill, 19, was charged with carrying a firearm on school property, and more charges are pending. No injuries were reported, but Claflin University also went on lockdown after an SCSU student sought safety there. The investigation is ongoing with assistance from the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division.
