Arizona Shooting Leaves Officer and Civilian Dead, Others Injured

Two individuals, an adult male and a juvenile male, have been taken into custody following a shooting in the Gila River Indian Community in Arizona that resulted in the deaths of a police officer and a civilian, and injuries to another officer and three civilians. The FBI and Gila River Police are investigating the incident, which occurred early Saturday morning during a large gathering. The case will be handed over to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona for a charging decision.
