"APD Officer Injured in Southeast Austin Shooting Incident"

An Austin police officer was shot in a southeast Austin neighborhood and is in stable condition. The incident prompted a large police presence, including APD and Texas Department of Public Safety personnel, as well as Austin-Travis County EMS. APD SWAT units also responded to the scene. The situation is still developing.
