Annapolis Shooting Leaves 3 Dead and Several Injured

A parking dispute in Annapolis, Maryland, led to a shooting that killed three people and injured three others. Charles Robert Smith, a 43-year-old Annapolis resident, has been charged with three counts of second-degree murder, three counts of first-degree assault, and use of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime. The shooting began after neighbors got into a disagreement about street parking, and Smith shot his 27-year-old neighbor and Christian Segovia, 25. Smith then shot and killed Nicholas Mireles, the 55-year-old father of his neighbor, and injured three others. Local leaders are calling for gun control regulation in the wake of the tragedy.
