Anderson Mass Shooting Leaves 6 Injured

Six people were wounded in a mass shooting at a street party in Anderson, Indiana, with the oldest victim being 21 years old and the youngest being a 14-year-old boy. Witnesses were reluctant to cooperate, leaving detectives to rely on surveillance cameras. Anderson Police officers rescued the most seriously injured victim, a female, and stopped the bleeding from her wounds before she was airlifted to Indianapolis for more intensive care. The same intersection was the site of another mass shooting in the summer of 2022 that left two dead among the five wounded.
