Alabama Police Officer Killed and Wounded in Multiple Shootings

Prosecutors are still evaluating additional charges for Juan Robert Laws, the man accused of shooting and killing a Huntsville police officer and wounding another officer and a woman on Tuesday. If convicted of capital murder, Laws would face either the death penalty or life in prison without the possibility of parole. The nature of the relationship between Laws and the wounded woman is unknown, but there were children at the apartment.
