Air National Guardsman caught applying for murder-for-hire jobs on parody website

An Air National Guardsman was arrested after applying for a hitman job on a parody website, www.rentahitman.com, and agreeing to kill someone for $5,000 in a conversation with an undercover FBI agent. Josiah Ernesto Garcia, 21, submitted identification documents and a résumé, earning him the nickname "Reaper," and was "employed in the Air National Guard since July 2021." Garcia was charged with use of interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder-for-hire and could face up to 10 years in prison.
