Aiden Fucci's Mother Sentenced for Tampering with Evidence in Cheerleader Murder Case

Crystal Smith, the mother of Aiden Fucci, who is serving a life sentence for killing 13-year-old Tristyn Bailey, has been sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years of probation for tampering with evidence related to her son's case. Surveillance video shows Smith washing Fucci's blue jeans hours after he murdered Bailey, and the jeans and the drain in the sink later tested positive for blood. Smith apologized for any additional suffering her conduct caused the Bailey family. She will be eligible to end her probation after three years if there are no violations.
