Aiden Fucci, a 16-year-old Florida teen, was sentenced to life in prison for the brutal murder of 13-year-old cheerleader Tristyn Bailey. Fucci stabbed Bailey 114 times and dumped her body in a wooded area near Jacksonville in 2021. The judge described Fucci's senseless desire to "feel what it was like to kill someone" and noted the heightened level of premeditation in the case. Fucci pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in February and apologized for the slaying in a handwritten letter that was read in court. He was not eligible for the death sentence because he committed the crime as a minor.
