Adam Montgomery Sentenced to Prison on Weapons Charges, Denies Killing Daughter

Adam Montgomery, a Manchester father accused of killing his 5-year-old daughter, denied the allegations in court before being sentenced to decades in prison on unrelated weapons charges. Montgomery, who is scheduled to go on trial for second-degree murder in the fall, was found guilty of weapons charges earlier this year. He asked the judge to only consider the weapons charges during sentencing, stating that he did not kill his daughter. Harmony's mother, Crystal Sorey, expressed disbelief and accused Montgomery of trying to be a victim. Montgomery was sentenced to 15-30 years in prison on the weapons charges and 7½-15 years on theft-related charges. The trial for the murder charges is scheduled for November.
