Kouri Richins, a US woman accused of killing her husband with a lethal dose of fentanyl, had a Google history that included searches for "luxury prisons for the rich in America" and how long it takes life insurance companies to pay. She also searched whether investigators can see deleted messages, how long life insurance companies take to pay claimants, and if the cause of death can be changed on a death certificate. Her defense attorney claims she was simply researching her case, but the judge called her a "substantial danger" to society and ordered her to remain behind bars.
