Accused killer of mother at sea dies in jail awaiting trial.

Nathan Carman, who was charged with killing his mother during a fishing trip off the coast of New England in 2016, has died while awaiting trial. He had pleaded not guilty to fraud and first-degree murder in her death, which prosecutors alleged was part of a scheme to inherit millions of dollars. Carman was also accused of killing his wealthy grandfather in 2013, but was not charged with murder in his death. His cause of death is currently unknown.
