"85-Year-Old Idaho Woman's Heroic Act: Shooting Home Intruder in Justifiable Homicide"

An 85-year-old woman in Idaho shot and killed an intruder who broke into her home, handcuffed her, and demanded to know the location of her valuables. The woman, Christine Jenneiahn, managed to retrieve her concealed 357 magnum revolver and shot the intruder, Derek Condon, after he hit her multiple times. Condon later died from his gunshot wounds, and Jenneiahn, who was also injured, remained handcuffed for about 10 hours before calling 911. The sheriff's department ruled Condon's death as a justifiable homicide and praised Jenneiahn's heroism and will to live.
