78-year-old woman charged with bank robbery apologizes to teller

Bonnie Gooch, a 78-year-old woman with two prior bank robbery convictions, has been charged with robbing a bank in Missouri. Prosecutors allege that she demanded "13,000 small bills" from a teller and slipped them a note apologizing for scaring them. Gooch then escaped in a Buick SUV with the cash, which was found strewn on the floorboard when police stopped her. She is currently in custody with a bail of $25,000 and is scheduled to be arraigned on May 25.
