Four men have been charged in connection with the killing of Mario Morales-Moreno, a 51-year-old Long Beach resident who was shot while doing yard work at his home. The shooting, believed to be gang-related, also injured another man. The suspects were arrested and charged with murder, conspiracy, and attempted murder, with gun allegations. Long Beach Police Chief Wally Hebeish condemned the violence and praised the investigative work that led to the arrests. A friend of Moreno's has set up a fundraiser for his family, raising over $15,000.
