Two separate shooting incidents in Champaign, Illinois, early Sunday morning left eight people injured. The first incident involved a fight that spilled into the street, resulting in a 21-year-old female victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm and a 21-year-old male victim with a potentially life-threatening stab wound to the back. The second incident involved a large crowd gathering for an impromptu gathering when an unknown subject opened fire, resulting in four people being shot and two being injured in car crashes.
