"Shooting at Benjamin Mays High School Leaves 4 Students Injured"

Four students were shot in the parking lot of Benjamin E. Mays High School in southwest Atlanta after a fight broke out just after dismissal. The injured students, three 17-year-olds and one 18-year-old, are expected to survive. A 35-year-old mother, a 17-year-old girl, and another male were taken in for questioning after being stopped in a car about five miles from the school. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, a Mays High School graduate, expressed shock and heartbreak over the incident and pledged to increase security at the school. The shooting occurred on the sixth anniversary of the Parkland school shooting, and the mayor emphasized the need to address youth violence.
