"Violent Past: Suspect Kills Minnesota Officers and Firefighter"

Two police officers and a firefighter were fatally shot in Burnsville, Minnesota, while responding to a domestic incident. The officers, Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge, both 27 years old, and firefighter-paramedic Adam Finseth, 40, were identified as the victims. The suspect, who has not been publicly identified, is also dead. Seven children who were inside the home are safe. The deaths of the first responders were ruled as homicides, and another officer was injured and hospitalized. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz expressed condolences and support for the grieving families.
