Body of Missing Middletown Teen Found Near Newport State Airport

The body of 17-year-old Owen Cameron, who had been missing for several days, was found partially submerged in a small body of water near Newport State Airport by Middletown police. Foul play is not suspected at this time, and the state medical examiner’s office is investigating the manner of his death. Cameron, a student at Portsmouth High School, was pursuing a career as an electrician. Counseling will be available at all Portsmouth schools, and support can be obtained from Newport Mental Health.
