"Triple Fatality in Monona Following Police Chase and Traffic Stop Incident"

Three individuals perished after their vehicle, which was fleeing from a Monona police traffic stop, crashed following the deployment of a tire deflation device by a Dane County deputy. The incident occurred on Monday night near Femrite Drive and Buckeye Road. The Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation is conducting an investigation with the assistance of the Wisconsin State Patrol, while the involved officers have been placed on administrative duty. The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the deaths, and no law enforcement personnel were injured.
