Montgomery Co. Teen Arrested for School Shooting Manifesto

An 18-year-old student in Montgomery County, Maryland, was arrested for allegedly planning a mass shooting at Wootton High School and authoring a 129-page "manifesto" outlining the plan. The student, who identified as male but is biologically female, claimed the manifesto was fictional, but concerning internet searches and prior threats led to the arrest. The student had been receiving mental health treatment and is charged with threat of mass violence, currently held without bond.
